Adding fruits and vegetables to your diet, may reduce the risk of developing diabetes

A recent study confirms what many doctors have long believed, eating fruits and vegetables is good for you. More specifically, the study states that eating a high concentration of vegetables, and a large variety of fruit, will lower your risk of contracting type 2 diabetes.
The study is the culmination of eleven years worth of medical data, collected from a Cancer and Nutrition study conducted on nearly 4,000 patients in the UK. Over 600 of the patients involved, were actually diagnosed with diabetes, and data was collected from food diaries.
